This is the chrome piece that surrounds the Cougar logo and running cat mounted on the passenger
side headlamp door. If you have ever tried to replace this part you know that the studs of the original
are peened down like the head of a rivet, and must be ground off to remove the corral. This renders
the corral much more difficult to reattach. Our part features studs that make it easy to reattach the
corral to the headlight door. Forty years of bugs and gravel have been hard on the originals. Now you
can replace that pitted corral with a new one for less than the cost of re-chroming The running cat
and the embossed background are both available from several of the Cougar parts vendors.
